Standard shipping method is door to door by sea. If you want to change sea shipping to air shipping, additional freight cost may be charged. 

Order Processing Time

Orders submitted through our website are typically processed within 7–12 business days. Once your order is ready for shipment, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number and carrier information.

Note: Made-to-order or customized lighting fixtures may require additional production time. We will contact you with an updated timeline if applicable.

REFUND & RETURN POLICY

(Effective 13 October 2025 – Version 1.2)

1. Scope  

1.1 This Policy governs all consumer purchases of physical goods made through PioriLights' sales channels.  
1.2 “Working Day(s)” means Monday–Friday, excluding Hong Kong public holidays.

2. 30-Day Right of Return  

2.1 You may exercise a voluntary right of return within thirty (30) calendar days from the date the carrier records delivery to you (“Return Window”).  
2.2 Returns are accepted only when:  
 a) a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number has been issued by PioriLights; and  
 b) the goods satisfy the condition criteria set out in Clause 4.

3. Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA)  

3.1 Initiation: e-mail info@piorilights.com with order number, SKU(s), and reason code.  
3.2 Approval: within two (2) Working Days we will either issue an RMA number together with the designated return address, or provide a written justification for refusal.  
3.3 Unauthorized shipments will be rejected and the carriage cost borne by the sender.

4. Condition Criteria  

Goods must arrive at our returns facility:  
a) unused, unmarked, and in “as-new” cosmetic and functional condition;  
b) in the original retail carton with all inner dunnage;  
c) complete with all standard accessories, documentation, and promotional items originally supplied;  
d) bearing no customer-applied labels, ink, or adhesive residue.

5. Return Logistics  

5.1 Packaging & photographic evidence: prior to sealing, take high-resolution photographs of the interior and exterior of the parcel and forward them to info@piorilights.com for validation.  
5.2 Carrier: use the same logistics provider and service level that was used for the outbound shipment, unless we specify otherwise.  
5.3 Insurance: insure the shipment for the full invoiced value and obtain a traceable, time-stamped tracking number.  
5.4 Closing the loop: transmit the tracking number to us within twenty-four (24) hours of hand-over to the carrier.

6. Allocation of Transport Costs  

6.1 Statutory remedies (DOA, manufacturing defect, or transit damage reported ≤ 48 h after delivery): return freight is prepaid by PioriLights; we will supply a bill-of-lading or cash-on-delivery label.  
6.2 Change-of-mind or customer-error returns: you bear the outbound and inbound freight charges; the original outbound freight (as per our carrier invoice) will be deducted from the refundable amount.

7. Inspection & Settlement  

7.1 Physical inspection occurs within two (2) Working Days of receipt.  
7.2 If the goods satisfy Clause 4, we will instruct our payment processor to credit the original payment instrument within three (3) Working Days.  
7.3 Financial intermediaries typically post the credit within three (3) to seven (7) Working Days thereafter. If you don't receive the refund after 7 business days, please check with your bank or credit card company.

8. Non-Qualifying Returns  

No refund or exchange will be granted where:  
a) the goods show evidence of misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or cosmetic alteration;  
b) any component or accessory is missing;  
c) the product has been installed, hard-wired, or used in a manner contrary to the user manual;  
d) the item is listed in Clause 9 (Non-Returnable Categories).

9. Non-Returnable Categories  

The following SKUs are final sale and are excluded from this Policy unless mandated by mandatory law:  
- Customised, made-to-order, or laser-engraved luminaires;  
- Clearance or “end-of-line” items marked “Final Sale”;  
- Products damaged by customer handling or by third-party installers;  
- Gift cards, digital downloads, and spare-part kits supplied free of charge.

10. Exchanges  

10.1 We do not operate a direct swap scheme.  
10.2 To exchange, first obtain an RMA under this Policy, repurchase the preferred item, and await separate fulfilment.  
10.3 The new order will be subject to prevailing price, stock, and promotional conditions.

11. Reporting Damages & Manufacturing Defects  

11.1 You must notify info@piorilights.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery, attaching:  
 i. clear photographs of the packaging (all six sides),  
 ii. photographs or videos showing the serial number and the defect/damage,  
 iii. a brief written description.  
11.2 We will, at our discretion, either:  
 a) ship replacement parts or a complete unit freight-free, or  
 b) issue an RMA for full refund per Clause 6.1.

12. Force Majeure  

Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government action, or global logistics disruptions.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution  

13.1 This Policy shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
