04 / CAREFULLY CONSIDERED
The journey home.
A closer look at the protective layers used to prepare furniture for its journey.
01
Foam — inside every joint and edge
Corners, legs, doors, drawers, glass panels: every exposed surface sits inside custom-cut foam. Nothing shifts. Nothing flexes.
02
Multi-layer wrap — outside the foam
Bubble, then corrugated cardboard, then a second foam shell. Three independent layers, so a single puncture does not compromise the others.
03
Wood crate — outside everything
Each piece sits inside a solid-wood crate, not a cardboard box. The crate is built to forklift and stack. By the time it reaches your door, the piece has been in transit inside the same wooden frame it left the factory in.
